Maybe you had to wait because there was someone ahead of you in line, and the practitioner is required to allow that person a certain number of minutes to arrive before he just "takes the next person." Did you happen to notice that the wait time you are given says "ESTIMATED" in big red letters above it? This means you may end up waiting longer, or shorter, than the time you were assigned when making your appointment.

Instead of blaming the practitioner, why not blame the patients who make appointments but do not show up on time, or at all. Or patients that show up and expect the practitioner to address 10+ health concerns all in a 20 minute window. (Not possible!) And fyi ...

MinuteClinic is just a name. It is not supposed to be "faster," i.e., you are not going to be seen within a minute.

I’m just curious why the minute clinic that I went to in Asheville NC did not take my medical history before the examination. This seams like an important step before they can decide a course of treatment. Is it just me or did others find this strange? On a sidebar The...

Minute Clinic & Quest Diagnostics: Scam Monopoly
On May 25th I finally visited the Minute Clinic at CVS in Columbus, after frantically calling several other clinics in town to learn they were all overbooked or didn't provide walk-in appointments. My abdomen was killing me, it felt like someone had punched it as hard...

No one cares that you don’t have insurance. If you need a test in order to be properly diagnosed, the doctor is going to order that test.

By the by, insurance is federally mandated, so you are technically breaking the law by not having any. Do you cry ripoff when the federal government charges you a penalty at the end of the year? Take some responsibility for yourself.

If you accept goods and services you are required to pay. Maybe the local free clinic would be a more suitable venue for you in the future.

So anyone who doesn’t agree with your idiotic “opinion” must work for CVS? Lol!

Clinics either offer a service or they do not. There is no room for “opinion” ..

Their website does not list diabetes diagnosing as a service that is available there. But thanks for the laughs!!

Here’s a SHOCKER for you (since you seem to like that word) ... Flu can be properly diagnosed without a swab.

Doing a swab would not have changed the outcome, and then you’d be on here complaining that you were charged an extra $70?for the swab. Also if your husband knew he had flu like symptoms he should have had the courtesy to wear a mask upon entering the waiting area.

He sounds just as rude and self centered as you. (Another shocker)

Nice try. A DOT Physical is hardly a basic exam.

A “charge nurse” is not qualified to conduct one, nor is any physician who is not certified by the FMCSA.

Thank you, NP, for keeping this fool off our highways and ensuring the safety of the public!

Wow, you had to wait at a walk-in clinic. Yeah, false advertising because the name implies faster service. You're very ignorant.
