World is going nuts with privacy rules. I took my 95-year-old mom to get her ear wax removed.

I was willing to pay cash.

After a two hour wait, they would not do it without her drivers license. Really?

Any compotent medical provider will ask for ID. You could be scamming and trying to pull a fast one or sue later we do it to cover ourselves.

Just like someone coming in for a quick "test for TB" doesn't wanna show ID-you could be covering it up for someone who is always positive but needs to start their job ASAP. Because of a few issues that is the rule for everyone now in healthcare, sorry!

Um yeah, REALLY! This is customary at any medical establishment. Sounds like you have something to hide...

Um, why do you care? Do you work for CVS or something?

Why are you such a strident defender of a corporate conglomerate such as CVS? Who is already spread to thin. They need to go back to filling prescriptions and selling overpriced goods, which is what they do best!

Stop trying to get into the diagnosis business. Leave it to the professionals.Anger issues?
