Made an appointment, received a text saying to be there in 30 minutes.

Arrived in time, system would not take my arrival information. 20 minutes after my appoint was to start the first human appeared, said I had to make a new appointment because mine had passed and wait another 2 hours...

What a mess. What a joke of a system. And who can you complain to? Only the haggard, overworked Minute Clinic attendee that does not understand how to work the sign in machine.

Would seem to be another business set up to suck money out of the healthcare system. Just what we all needed.

You probably rushed to put in your information and typed your name in wrong when registering which is why the system did not recognize you. You did not have an "appointment" just a saved spot in line but failure to register properly sounds like your own fault.

The "attendee" as you call her is an educated Nurse Practitioner, whose job is to evaluate and treat patients, not babysit you to make sure you show up on time with the correct registration code, and hold your hand while attempting to use a very simple registration kiosk. Since you require such a great deal of individualized attention, perhaps the MinuteClinic and other such "walk-in" establishments are not for you, and you should only go to your primary physician, who has dedicated staff on hand to assist you with your many special needs.
